And all we do is yell and argue
But as soon as I'm alone again
I miss you so insanely

Late at night you always get so needy
And I wish you wouldn't smother me
But when I'm laying in bed without you
Wishing you were here is all I do

Just killing time till I can see you again
'Cause that's when I don't have to pretend
But you're the only one who tells me
The things I don't want to hear

In my mind I always seem so distant
But you seem to think the opposite
I told you things nobody else knows
But you still say it doesn't show

I'm trying to be somebody
'Cause I hate the girl I call me
But all that you want me to be
Is who I've always been
The quiet girl who got picked on
The nice girl everyone stepped on
The poet with a heart of gold
Who everyone controlled

So if the whole world always hated me
Why on earth would you want to love me?
If I always did everything wrong
How could I be right for you?

'Cause that girl didn't love you like I do
She didn't need anything from you
Oh well, maybe she'll fall head over heels
And maybe even know how to feel

'Cause what you want is what I'll give
Because without you I can't live
So whatever makes you happy
To be the one with me
I don't love anyone the way
I'll love you now and every day
I swear you'll love me more than you
Ever dreamed could be true [comments] => 5 [counter] => 194 [topic] => 21 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I loved this moonlit.
It is truly funny that we question how one could love us.
Jeff
