Her Song

Contributed by Lone_er on Thursday, 6th November 2003 @ 07:05:57 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Her Song

There is a song that soothes me
A warm and gentle lullaby to my soul
Providing sweet rest and refuge
From burdens beyond my control

Always I hear it
From early morn until the night
It dances with my dreams
Until the mornings light

My heart sings in harmony
In perfect time with her own
And in the song we sing
The depths of love are known

But it’s in her gentle spirit
The softness of her touch
Where the music is heard
That moves me so much

Let her sing to me forever
Those verses of joy and love
And the song crescendos ever upward
Unto heavens halls above

Russ

Russ, this is amazing! I'm not just saying that, I mean, it's just fabulous! The idea is so beautiful, and it's expressed seamlessly.....
