Would it carry on like any other; Or would you genuinely care? What If I were gone? What If I left without even saying goodbye What If I took off, never to return? What if I gave up- decided not to try? Tell me what would you do if something happened- and I was gone that day... Were you last words to me the last ones you ever wanted me to hear you say? Or are there words you've needed me to hear, but decided to delay? And are the last things that we did the last things that you ever wanted us to do.... What if I were gone? We can only live each day one time And once gone, never to return.. Slips by us then we must leave it behind There's a lesson to be learned... Make the best of each and every single day Live it as if it were your last Because you never know if tomorrow All you'd known as come and passed....
