She feels the silence of the desert grow
As the snow falls upon her face
And hears the thunder of the desert rose
The falling flower of the whitest flake
Fluttering like a butterfly dancing on her cheek
She hears the silence and the thunder grow
As she walks through the ivory weep
She cherishes every sound she makes
The pressing of her foot into the snow
The new found presence of her voice
The importance of her thoughts has shown
In the silence and the thunder her voice has grown
