the darkness so very clear.
If I can just get past November
I could get through all the fear.

In comes the rain
out die the blooms
remembrance of pain
return to days of gloom.
Fierce is the wind
trailed by all the tears
nothing to believe in
no will left to steer.
The changing of the colors
with every ragged breath
in memory of all of her
even grace within her death.

I can smell November
the darkness so very clear.
If I can just get past November
I could get through all the fear.

The crown of flowers
a second wish to please
unknown fate of powers
all purpose ceased.
Moonlight throught the trees
rapture in the sun
empty vacant pleas
into the wall I run.
The weeds have grown through the earth
a shadow from the day
within her death hides my birth
bitter pillows on which to lay.

I can smell November
the darkness so very clear.
If I can just get past November
I could get through all the fear.

The angel and the scorpion
have both gone so far away
the leo and the thespian
are all I have today.
The joys of motherhood
are wracked with pain and sorrow
I wish I understood
why there were no more tomorrows.
I'd give a thousand other days
for one more day with them
a million different prays
to not be so condemned.

I can smell November
the darkness so very clear.
If I could just get past November
I could get through all the fear. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Jaymee that would make a beautiful song.
I too hope November passes by very fast.
But of course, her memory will always last!
Whether be November, or July....you'll always remember and wonder why!
Hugs,
and much love for a beautiful write!
ConSue
