I've been doing this so long,
I even had you fooled.

I fake a smile when I'm sad.
Sometimes it lasts all night and day.
How much longer do I have to wait
for this feeling to go away?

I don't want to fake anymore.
I'm tired of this game.
I quit, it's over.
I never want to feel the same.

When can I go back to being happy,
like I was before?
How many more faked smiles
do I have to endure? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 48 [informant] => resurrection [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

According to Tony and others, a faked smile if held long enough and made to look sincere will automatically and without fail create happiness. Good to see you're on the right track. I give this a 3.8 on the Nortiscale.

*pats resurrection on the head*
faking it sucks...i know, i'm there all the time. I cannot hand out words of wisdom...or anything more than some expired coupons for that matter...(trick-or-treaters were happy last night, lemme tell ya). Just know...that doing stupid things you'll grow to regret doesn't help, and telling someone that you're sick of smiling DOES help. you're never alone! And things are NEVER what they seem...
