Array ( [sid] => 26190 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Cold Floor [time] => 2003-11-01 03:33:17 [hometext] => Ever had your heart dropped? Love someone so much that that one word slips out on accident and leaves them speechless, and when their finally able to talk, what they say leaves your heart shattered, on that cold, cold floor. [bodytext] => I chose,
The unchosen,
A doorway closed,
Wth others open free,
Two nice,
Beautiful harpies held,
But not for me,
Dear Lady of Death,
Leave me be,
Alone by myself,
Just like,
Every other time,
In the end,
Left with few,
Few inside,
Locked in my,
Prisoning skull,
Trapped without emotions,
Flowing too fast,
Inside my chest,
Leaving a swollen head,
To simply fill it,
With absolutely nothing,
In the end,
I never meant,
To throw you,
On top of that cloud,
With no breath,
But tell me now,
Has a feather formed,
Just one golden ring,
In the end,
I will sit down here,
While you stand tall,
Miles high,
Not really standing,
Never,
To call my name,
Just as friends,
In the end,
But all I want to know,
Why can't we not be nothing,
More then friends,
Just a little bit,
Or,
I can just,
Sit here all alone,
To be seen,
But unknown,
In the end,
Does it really,
Even matter,
To wave,
My two fingers,
Help up,
High enough for,
You to see,
To get,
Not one word,
In the end,
I have,
Cast down,
Millions of raindrops
For you,
Not unseen,
Or to be unloved,
But not me,
I am just to be seen,
But nothing more,
To be loved,
But just not enough,
To be cared for,
Looked after,
Thought of,
Never,
And scared of,
Feared from,
Ran from,
Every single thing,
That I ever loved,
In the end,
It's all gone,
With that one grain,
Blown of dust,
To be forgotten,
And never remembered,
Or given one single tear,
To be handed,
One single shard,
Og that broken glass heart,
To mend back,
Which of,
If whole,
I would never,
Ever once drop it,
Because I know how it feels,
To not have a heart,
Dropped time after time,
By woman after woman,
Shaddering on that floor,
That cold, cold floor,
To have nothing exist there,
Where it once was,
The word love,
That is,
Once existing,
Now gone from that floor,
Ripped out of me,
With every girl passerby,
It slips off my tongue,
Onto their hands,
Saoking their hands in this word,
Of a featherlight emotion,
A now empty emotion,
Meaningless to me,
Fills my,
Head with thoughts,
Of that cold,
Cold Floor. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Asatru [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
