Sorrowed by anothers pain,we cry
But to be the cause of such emptiness..within another
A treasured part of us near dies

The part of us that thought we were ok
Loving and kind,caring of soul
Until reality speaks its piece
And consumes anothers dream, whole

Nothing can be done to alter
What has come to pass the time
Feelings of doubt,when life falters

Words fail me ... not only because this is an excellent write - stark and painful (tears are in my eyes) ... but also because I understand what you must be feeling, as well as he, and there are just no words to say. I just wish with all my heart that it could have been different somehow for you both ... (well, I guess words didn't fail me after all) ... Jan

He will heal in time. Till then remain his friend, I'm sure he needs it now more than ever. ;o)

Increadibly sad yet beautiful poem.

When a love is lost, remember always...
It was best to love than not to have loved at all!
Very touching indeed....but you can be sure, if you were honest....then what you have done is the best of all deeds.....it would have caught up with and it's sorrowful now...but would have been devastating if you were 2.
My heart aches for you, Sharon, how many times I've wished I could reach out and touch another's heart.....but it can't be done. There's only one we can change....and that's us....it's hard to realize, but so true after all is said and done! But go on loving through your grief...'twill give you much relief....and love you must give away inorder to keep each day!
I'm so sorry.
