This is how you want it to be
You said I deserve this time for myself
But how this could be, I just don’t see

The thoughts running rampant through my mind
The desire for you my body still feels
Why didn’t you want me tonight
I don’t want these thoughts that the night reveals

One left me all alone in favor of his stupid hobby
He would rather be outside freezing with a fishing pole in hand
Than here snuggled up next to me

The other said I deserve this free time
Never thought to ask if this is what I want
Somehow though this all feels like a lie to me

How is I get so close to what I truly want
I finally begin to realize my dreams are so near
Only to have fate drop a stone on my head
My trust is shattered once again, I fear

I enjoyed this one very much. I would honestly just find a way to be strong enough to be content within myself. Of course I always believe in fighting for what you believe in. You will find the right person soon. Just never give up hope for sometimes it is all you have.
