the pathway became darkened
the mind was left unsound.

The withering of time comes forward
pushing the set ones off balance
destruction is all underground
lost for good every chance.

Light for the journey
crossing boundary's stone
the meadow lays empty
running wild with the roan.

The screaming cries of reality
a memory why day
good or bad it's hell left over
charged with nothing more to say.

Light for the journey
a path with only forks
the neverending story
of the mindless unhinged cork. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 186 [topic] => 13 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

How futile it is for me to relive or go back in my past to try to change a thing or two. i never look over my shoulder and try to remove what has been lived by me. I learned so many years ago, that if I do that, then this day, this very day that I'm living, I can't live and be free! It' like running a race.....our race of life. You can't run while looking over your shoulder, or you will stumble over a big boulder. Sometimes you can't get up, that's why I can't run and look behind me anymore. It takes all my energy to survive this day....and what happened yesterday, or what may happen tomorrow I have to set aside by the sideway!
Beautiful poetry, Jaymee you are so talented.
Love you,
ConSue
