Array ( [sid] => 25807 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Glass Is Empty [time] => 2003-10-26 14:29:19 [hometext] => you're all familiar with the sayings about how the optimists 'glass is half full' and the pessimists is 'half empty' well...mine is totally empty...hard to explain what this is about other than...i really screwed things up this time....im so lost.... [bodytext] => Is this life really worth it, no one can even hear me
As I cry out in all this pain that I'm in...I want to be free
I've lost every friend in the world now, it's getting hard to see,
why I should bother to go on living on this earth,
I wish that I could just go through a re-birth
I'm tired and sleepy and extremely hungry,
the watch says it's 3 o'clock in the morning
I'm ready to lay down and die...ready to end my story

The glass is neither half empty, nor half full for me...
my glass is just totally empty,
while everyone elses is over flowing
Seems I've turned into a hopeless being
Think maybe I'll go to the river and begin drowning
Maybe I'll find some rope so they can find me hanging,
or perhaps get the knife...they'll find me bleeding
Doesn't matter what I choose, everythings so messed up,
feels like I am about to throw up...

So it comes down to this,
it's all in my hands
To live or to die,
to take the easy way,
or to fight

So it comes down to this,
and I'm not scared,
about this thing called death
I'm not afraid to look it in the face,
and to give it a glare...

But I am scared to live,
when I feel this much sorrow...
this much pain...
I've ruined everything
Now there's nothing,
with my hands covering my face,
the tears come out,
and they fall to the ground,
they fall today...
they'll fall tomorrow,
and to the end of my days...

I liked this a lot, but my theory on the glass, is that it's just there, and there something in it.

The glass is never empty, go to the the river and fill it and while you're at it keep writing cuz it'll help and this will pass. :)

Hey there,
Number one, forget about the freakin glass.
You can feel and you can cry. So many people in this world don't even know what
that feels like. I know what it feels like
and I hate to see anyone in pain and
allowing this world to break their spirit.
Please just keep writing, you have the gift
and to me that shows you are not lost
and I would truly be honored if you
you ever want to talk.
I mean it now,
POOBEAR

I know the feeling, i wont say i understand it because even though i am going through something...well similiar i still dont understand, nobody can ever truly understand...

But a glass can never be empty, there are always a few drips at the bottom, and those few drops are what we have to grasp and build upon until one day we may be flowing like the others.

I dont know if i am making any sense at all to you...

Take care and if you ever want to talk you know i'm here
