Tender words whispered in the moonless night,
Stars ablaze brush across the breathless twilight.
A glow of warmth rises up through the misty air,
A stolen kiss is shared between the heated pair.

Each touch blossom fireworks by such fingertips,
Each breath taken away by a caress upon silky lips.
Thoughts of another drift away into an endless abyss,
At each passing of every intimate kiss.

The night so silent as passion takes its grasp,
The darkness so heavy at the escape of every gasp.
Perhaps lust is the one thing kept within sight,
True love vanished upon the kiss of this night.

Heart at a race as the body yearns for more,
Wanting, longing for this pleasure galore.
Thoughts at a halt, laying frozen at a blend,
Mixed in a jumble, not wanting these kisses to end…

When all is through and pleasure is complete,
Chained to another has brought guilt upon to greet.
But perhaps Fate’s intention was for this ultimate bliss,
And may present another gamble to steal another kiss.

x_x I was half asleep when I read this poem the first time. Upon reading it a second time while fully awake, it seems like a different poem. Heh, er, so scratch my last comment. Still, it's very well written. It captures the lusty mood, I guess. Heh, er, ya. Man, I'm never gonna comment on poems again unless I'm fully aware. ^^;;
