What’s not shown
And something to teach me
What I’ve never known
Every lonesome day
Is slowly killing me
It’s doing everything
But thrilling me
Despite it all,
They say it’ll be alright
I only want
To be home tonight
Nothing can compare
To the pain of this
And everything that’s good is gone
And that I miss

All the life within me has turned to brown
I wait for the day to end and the sun to go down
I’m countin’ on a miracle to pull me through
But now I’m thinking, what good will it do?

A bitter wave of misery
Washes over my every thought
At least I knew I had tried
And even had fought [comments] => 2 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Schnikes13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
