Sitting with my mom, Talking with her side by side, Two years ago,I thought how lucky am I, to be seeing my mom, today it brings a tear to my eye, For now I know she's gone, Two years ago today,we made plans on things to do, Mom & the rest of the family, Now were all here trying to make it through, of remembering those memories, It was just two years,but seems like yesterday, I saw mom smile at me, I told her bye,I'll be back the next day, then her soul set free, I can't help but miss her voice, with her German accent, but God gave me no choice, to just remember those times well spent, Two years ago today, I lay flowers in her casket, My mom's precious life, I just cant seem to forget!
