wear it like a balm , a soothing lotion
Makes you swirl in the whirl of emotions
Hardly ever we confront our notions.

When you gyrate to the tunes of destiny
& the absurdities churn out a symphony
the tunes so alluring , the beats so upbeat
the storm of forlornness that wants to meet.

Meet the soul that it wants to caress
& the resurgence of phenomenon called life
that it wants to harness
& wickedly mould .
Would you be numb & let its game unfold
meet it head on & don’t be shy
imbibe the pain , as you gave it a fair try
Since life will just pass by , if you hold yourself not to cry

It’s the tears that must roll on & make us robust
let the catharsis flow in a gust
The caravan of life moves on
as it should be & as it must
so now wipe your tears & be the first
to look beyond & quench the thirst.

The thirst for life , so what if its again full of strife

You know when your heart is torn
& you are vulnerable like a new born
open up yourself , say something
This is how a poem is born.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
