three miles plus seventy-two
not a day in sight
that I could ever see you.

The trouble with us is
too much thought
naughty or nice
we just do what we ought.

The lust from day one
a simple little drive
rose petals and glitter
worth the will to survive.

The knowledge was easy
the road so dark
a painful reminder
we were more than just a lark.

The need for your touch
the validation of lust
is a constant demon
one I cannot trust.

The closing of the door
open the window wide
forever in my dreams
never far from you I hide. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
