Array ( [sid] => 25601 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Goodbye Friend [time] => 2003-10-23 02:41:35 [hometext] => This peom derived as a result of two young people getting married at too young of an age... but with time...wise enough and loving eatch other enough to let the other go...No regrets. [bodytext] => It is hard to imagine life without you
It is something I hope that I will get through
In time the heartache will fade
but the thoughts of you will come everyday

The time we have toghether is almost through
But without a doubt, I will always love you...
In my soul you'll stay with me
I never dreamed how hard this would be

Letting you go is tearing me apart
But it's best for both of us...
I know in my heart

I look to the future and see nothing for me
without you by my side what will I be?
I do wish things were not so bad
It is terrible, my friend, always feeling sad
The one thing I hope...
you look back and smile

Always thinking...We had it pretty good...for a while...

Just wanted to say that your words touched my heart! Your poem was just what I needed to help me with a current friendship that I need to let go of. Best Wishes... J.
