Array ( [sid] => 25521 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Magicman [time] => 2003-10-22 00:08:23 [hometext] => a story, [bodytext] => she would cry every now and then when she thought of leaving the hospital, she was safe here, away from the pain and anger. Megan became sick with the thought of leaving . Newton was staying in the same room with her, and would ask her questions.

She finally told him how lost she felt, Newton was 8 and he told her the story of the Magicman... The Magicman will help you, he helped me! once when I was lost, I was so scared I could not get my breath, then I remembered the story of him. and that you must ask! Magicman, Magicman, please come for me.and then my dad found me! he said he had a dream....that night she thought of them coming for her and with her refuge gone tears swelled in her eyes as she curled herself tight in her bed,so frightened of what was to come she fell asleep whispering, Magicman, Magicman please come for me. Megan was just 11.

With psychic ability Van was 22nd in his class according to the tests, he could not to all that they asked of him. But the dreams were different, he had one of the dreams last night, unlike the dream of the little boy that had been lost. Last night's dream had been pronounced with fear, fear in the heart of a little girl. Desperation and urgency filled the dream like a jungle's morning haze. In his dreams Van had the ability to talk with souls and spirits that wandered the dreams. Able to act in a intangible world Van could bring them back to, they were only to willing to do his bidding. The little boy that had been lost Van had sent Shadow the Great to search the world over for the dad. The dreams were not frequent but they were always of children in desperate times.Shadow the Great had found the dad, and laced the dream....

Alonzo the clown was sent this time he had a bad temper and a soft heart, a good one for the job, the parents were uncaring and mean.... "He sat straight up when he heard the noise there was an uncanny chill in the room and that tinkling of small bells, suddenly the end table flew away from the side of bed and he was jerked to his feet. Fear like he had never felt before was there in front of him. She was next, Alonzo thought her the worst. The clown laughed and tightened his stranglehold on each of them. Fire like eyes, and poison seeped from his teeth, he leaned close and whispered, "if the child is hurt again" I'll be back to finish my game! Alonso the clown laughed that insidious laugh, that was left reverberating through the room and disappeared......

Martin finished dressing and kissed his wife, then gulped his coffee down. I got to get going, i`m late! Oh! I had the craziest dream last night, I'll tell you all about it when I get home tonight. I hate hospital duty he announced.later that day Martin passed the room of the little girl.Martin happened to look in the room, he told his partner, that's a little girl in my dream last night! your kidding! Martin could not help himself he had to go in. The little girl was crying, Martin asked her why? She told him her parents were coming to get her today. Why would you crying, that should be a happy thing! And then she showed him the scars, not the ones that healed, the scars inside.... He held the little girl and promised that would never happen again, Martin remembered the dream, and the tears of the clown. Martin made the right calls and told the staff, nobody was to take the child he would be back for her....

A week turned to a month, and the parents never showed.....this is the end......

She sat down at the table with Martin and Sally to have dinner she had helped to make! a prayer was said for all that they had, Megan so happy, but she would never forget.....
Magicman, Magicman,
please come for me.
A child you will love,
a child in need.......... Crow

Hi crow,
This is very good written story.
It's sad when a child is stuck with abusive parents.
Great work!
peace, joy, luv,

Love your words, be them in poetic form or storytelling. They speak with raw emotion and that says something about the man behind the words. Lovely story!
Angel always...godspeed...joni
