Array ( [sid] => 25396 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Balloon [time] => 2003-10-20 16:04:30 [hometext] => This is not a poem, but it is a short story that I wrote my ninth grade year in high school for writing lab class.I know That I really shouldn't have put this on this website but I Like the comments that you give here, so please comment on this story. [bodytext] => Once there was a little boy and girl whose names were Lexy and River. They were brother and sister. Lexy was six years old and River was two years old. Lexy and River's mother was taking them to the circus today. They were both very excited.
It was time to go to the circus so their mother told Lexy to get ready and help River get ready too. They both finished getting ready, and went off to the circus. When they finally got to the circus, Lexy and River saw a clown holding balloons. Lexy asked her mother if she could get a balloon. Lexy's mother told Lexy to wait until the circus was over with. They went on to the circus, and while they all were watching the circus inside the tent Lexy saw the clown with the balloons again. Lexy decided to go and get a balloon from the clown. Lexy wanted a blue one. When the circus was over with, Lexy's mother noticed that Lexy wasn't sitting beside her anymore. She took River and went to look for Lexy. Lexy's mother looked for hours and hours, but couldn't find Lexy anywhere. Lexy's mother called the police. The police searched for weeks and weeks. The police couldn't find anything either. Lexy's mother was very upset that the police couldn't find her daughter Lexy.
Some few weeks after the police had stopped looking for lexy; someone called into the police and said that they had found a dead body in a vacant parking lot. The police went to investigate the scence. They found a little girls body that had been stabbed several times holding a blue balloon that she had tied around her wrist. It was Lexy the little girl that the mother at the circus couldn't find. The person who had killed her was the clown at the circus selling the balloons. He confessed to killing Lexy.

Wow, this is harsh stuff. It's very blunt, leaving you to do the interpreting. I like it =)

Love Joy and Peace,
