She scowls, looks away,
he, nervous, wants to say:

'I think your wonderful,
but its only optical.
Your hair, your smile,
your looks, your style,
it makes me crazy, feelin wild.
Makes me act just like a child.
But I know your type,
you'll act just right
if what you see
is what you like.
And what you like is what you get
cos a boy to you is just like a pet.
Ive seen you play, tease, then neglet;
find the next one, then forget
who thought he had it all that week
when all he got was a kiss on the cheek.
While I sit back and watch it all
your off, another night on the pull.
My heart tells me to try my luck
but have I got a chance? Like ....
In your eyes I look like nothing
but when your eyes on me my heart starts pumping.
My thoughts begin to twist and jump and
I go all crazy, like some half wit.
So Ill stay away from your games and style
for as long as I can, or just a while.
But your hold on me feels like a spell
feels like Im passing straight through hell
Im cracking up here, can you tell?
Im trying to play this love game well,
but your not the one I belong to
cos my feelings for you are just not true.
My heart and head feels split in two,
so this is what Ive got to do:
Ive got to keep you from my mind
your style's what got me in this bind
I need to forget your even there
yet alone how much I care.
These thoughts for you Ive longed to share
but should I say it? I do not dare!' [comments] => 3 [counter] => 180 [topic] => 31 [informant] => Dreama [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
