Array ( [sid] => 25309 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Fighting within [time] => 2003-10-19 01:55:11 [hometext] => Written after a long inner struggle that leaves you living in a land between sanity and madness [bodytext] => The pain and suffering tormenting my soul,
Spreading havoc and burning a hole.
Tearing apart the last of my will,
While emotions refuse to stay still.

My belief or my desire, my Love or her fate,
To give into passion or turn cold with hate.
To ignore or embrace the feelings inside,
Should I show my love where it can't abide.

Is pleasure worth the pain in the end,
God help my bleeding soul to mend.
To choose one love, is to loose another,
But to push one away is to kill the other.

The knife of pain stabs deeper within,
Which part of myself could ever win.
I became unhappy by this my choice,
Because I listened to that "inner voice".

Be it wisdom or madness the choice is my own,
But the pain it's caused is unlike any I've known.
Brain and heart fight to win,
Tearing apart their mutual skin.

Fighting to endure until all alone,
Neither can live on it's own.
So how will I ever survive,
When they burn each other alive. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 13 [informant] => resurrection [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Whoa....deep.....very...egh..Very deep write..Its so powerful and yet, so simple. I loved all of this, especially
"Is pleasure worth the pain in the end,
God help my bleeding soul to mend.
To choose one love, is to loose another,
But to push one away is to kill the other.

The knife of pain stabs deeper within,
Which part of myself could ever win.
I became unhappy by this my choice,
Because I listened to that "inner voice"."

That stood out unbelieveably O.O

This was a beautiful poem I enjoyed everytime I read it again...and I lost count around 8..^_^..lol Awesome write!
