I had been so close to convincing myself
It was okay, it wouldn't stay this way.
Now the vulture's back again
The concealing nights
No longer a friend
Who would save me from this poem.

I'm hurting so bad,
Torn and bleeding from my own dad.
This hurt's been born into me.
How can I escape a torturer
That I can't even see?
Or decide just how I feel about him;
How I hate
How I writhe
How I scream about him?

I'm so unbearable that I hit the floor
And gape at these hands that cover my face.
My think tears are sore,
I'm sweating blood; feeling more.

There's nothing else like this!
I don't know what to do,
What to say,
Where to run,
Get away!
Get away!
Get away!
I'm so weak on my knees,
What do I do?
I'm so sick, so free. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 6 [informant] => uncooked [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )
