The earth beneath me trembles
Resists my presence.

Stone sinks in water
Ripples in silent circles
Dance within the wake.

We are never one
Dreams divided by chaos
Left to grasp on hope.

Good day, my friend!
The sun shines down here today
Try to catch its rays.

Blood upon blood drips
Effects of war not needed
Peace imprisoned far.

He who brings great sin
Descends upon my doorstep
I am made godless.

She stares back at me
Strange occupant of the glass
Are those my blank eyes?

Trees swaying gently
To an invisible breeze
Peace is here today.

My own existence
A beautiful accident
I'll try to repent.

Raindrops on my palm
Apathy eludes the cold
Only rage remains.

Don't try to define
A snowflake glimpsed only once
It knows its pattern.

Your gaze pierces me
I'm left with the aftermath
Of forbidden thoughts.

Angels sing for us
Faults in "flawless" creation
We heed the devil.

Danger soaks the air
Snake pops up and bares its fangs
To devour the frog.

My favorite is definitely the second one. "Dance within its wake"- genius line, I love it! The 3rd last one is awesome too, "Your gaze pierces me"...... Such a thought shared here too. You did an excellent job. Kudos! and keep it going!

Love Joy and Peace,
Jellybellyprincess
