And can not take this anymore.
I will go to my room,
and lock the door.

I sit on my bed,
Stare at the wall.
I can only think,
'Why not end it all?'

I look at a bottle,
Sitting across the way.
I know that if I do this,
There will be Hell to pay.

Still I pick up the bottle,
Maybe I will take a few down,
Then lie on the bed
Waiting for death to come around.

But then I think about our love,
How you treated me.
Are you really worth it??
Why not let things be??

So I put the bottle down,
I know these will not ease my pain.
Now that I have seen the light,
I know that I will see a better day. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 36 [informant] => Kalika [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

You are so very right...you will see a better day. I have been there and only recently realized the reason I was suicidal or actually I should say the person I was suicidal over was not worth my pain and tears. Your day will come when you feel totally at ease and once again, you will be happy. A very emotional write.

An impressive write. It's always good not to lose hope, this way you won't be losing yourself. Stay well!
