Array ( [sid] => 25166 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Broken Friends [time] => 2003-10-16 17:44:05 [hometext] => Just wrote this about someone I haven't talked to in five months...and I've realized I can't stand to be their friend (some one I use to date)... [bodytext] => You bore me,
with your same conversation,
I just wish you from my past,
I could be erasing.
I have finally realized,
why it never worked out,
Because you are so vain,
Without a doubt.
You cannot stand to be alone,
Girls are flavors of the week,
I want to plug my ears,
When I hear you're self-centered voice speak.
I told you it was over,
Because of this,
Now you want to act like we've been friends,
You won't be receiving a goodbye kiss.
You can never talk intelligently,
Or say how was your day,
You constantly talk about your popularity,
Which makes stay at bay.
You aren't considered my friend,
Because you are so immature,
I am happy are romantic relationship is over,
I know more want you at my door.
I won't miss walking beside you,
In the warm summer night,
And I won't miss the way you kissed me,
And held me so tight.
There is too much past,
Between you and I,
It use to hurt me so bad,
Millions of tears I've cried.
But now I've realized who you truly are,
I've left you now instead,
To await my shining star.
I no longer love you,
And sad this may be,
But you I am over,
You need to wake up and see.
My true love will be coming,
Sooner than you can say "I Love You" again,
From the past I am running,
No longer wanting to be your friend.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
