An endless supple of fun Nazi teachers
taking away your nights
by piling up the homework
and forcing you to write
A pool of hormonal young men
full of testosterone and lust
checking out every female
who has a decent sized bust
A bunch of giggly girls
who worry over make-up and hair
and think that they look good
in clothes that are barely there
Full of noisy football games
where we watch over-sized boys
who run around, into each other
while the crowd shouts for joy
Then there's the doggy cheerleaders
an embarrassment to the school
they stomp their thunder-thighs and clap their hands
and they really thinking their cool
Food fights in the cafeteria
with mashed potatoes on your clothes
Then there's the crazy cat fights
girls getting punched in the nose
But of course we must remember
that high school is a time,
of parties, fun, and studying
beginning at grade nine
And after four short years
its time for us to move ahead
with memories of friends and events
all part of the wonderful,
and beautiful lives we've led. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 7 [informant] => Serendippitty [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

i like the rhyming you did in this, its quite humorous, but i think it would have been better if you'd seperated it up into a couple of stanzas and not just one long one. great write anyways though.

I thought this fabulous! (and very funny!)
It takes me back to soe of the hilarious
antics that went on in my school days!
A great write!
