the angel with no wings
begging for a hand held out
an emptiness no one brings.

She's huddling at four corners
on the road to martyrdom
cross the street to paradise
and watch her as she runs.

She fell down from her perch
to watch another's world go by
she'd rather go back to her hell
that smile through every lie.

She missed her trip a while ago
her ticket she's unable to find
no coins left in her pocket
she's always been left behind.

Wanders her avenue by day
left pacing through the night
danced her way to freedom
then blew way out of sight.

Mirrors crack every seventh moon,
she hasn't any path
cursed for birth or so it seems
she hides from nature's wrath. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I remember that feeling, Jaymee, craving for attention...I wondered if it would ever be fulfilled. Will I always go on being so empty..well somewhere along the way, I found it is only I that can fill the emptiness, no one else could ever replace the grace.
Loving poem, and good lesson to learn.
