It‘s a Freak Iraq
A smouldering chaos
Created by American egos
A freak show
A distortion of so-called democracy
A nightmare of instability
Built on ten thousand dead
A Freak Iraq
A shattered mirror
Where a country stood
Smashed in an attack
A slaughtering hail
Of hi-tech horror
All on a pretext
All on a lie
All special effects
To blind the eye
Few say Saddam was good
But the Bush obscenity
Was way too crude
Neocon ambitions
Cold as ice
Manipulate emotions
Bombs as dice
Change the world
To a right-wing view
To suppress the many
And raise the few
Now we see the mutant
Rising from their dreams
The ugly reality
The dying screams
This is nothing like what was meant to be
This is nothing to do with being free
This is about the neocon view
About the egos of Bush and crew
To them the world is a toy for play
Will you listen to the lies they say?
Anarchy is Freedom. White is Black.
Freedom it‘s not. It‘s FREAK Iraq [comments] => 1 [counter] => 190 [topic] => 41 [informant] => Steeleyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => political )
