Array ( [sid] => 24361 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Damn Distance! [time] => 2003-10-04 07:35:00 [hometext] => This poem was written about a boy I met online. We have grown very close over the years. He concidered moving in the city next to mine, to go to college, but recently told me that his plans to move out here have changed. Honestly tell me what you think. [bodytext] => I wish that I could show you
how much you mean to me
I wish that I could hug you
so that you could really see
I wish that you lived closer
so that things wouldn't have to be
the way things are right now
is doing nothing but killing me
I wish you wouldn't be so kind
It makes me want to scream
I wish that I could hate you
But I can not fool my mind

The way I feel about you
Is crazy cant you seee
I've never felt this way before
about another human being.
Will you make me hate you?
It hurts to feel this way

My love for you grows deeper
each and every day
so grant me this one wish
and make my love for you decay

The poem: 3 on the Nortiscale
The topic (you asked for it): You are reaching out for the unattainable, because you are afraid of getting hurt and are sabotaging any more local chances for infactuation. This guy doesn't have power over your emotions to either make you love or hate him. Your fixation on him is only because you need to have some drama. My advice - Go to a party, join a club, take a class, anything just get out there and take a chance.
