When to Kiss

Contributed by norm on Friday, 3rd October 2003 @ 11:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

She and I walked hand in hand,
Down the stairway to the sand,
The moon's great orb, an orange shape,
Started up the waterscape.

I placed my arm around her waist
Her lips I sought to nip and taste.
I watched the moon so pure and chaste,
Like virgin fluffy clouds of lace.

Her hands I found against my chest
the little pressure told the rest.
The hand, the sand, the moon sedate,
Told me I had better wait.

She smiled not nor did she frown,
She made my world go upside down,
I will wait like man should do,
Until his lover's willing to.

Dear Norm,
That was so sweet and kind of you!
I didn't really get the Title into view.
I thought you were talking about a little mouse
As they walked hand and hand out of your house!

Then it dawned on me...it had to be you!
I don't know of any little mouse would wait like that!
Very few gentleman except for Norm
It would be so nice to date, and not have to battle a storm!
I just loved your little loving story...even if it was about you?

Been waiting for many years
For any girl to drop her fears
And close her eyes, lips forward
Ever willing to go onward.

Experience has, it never is
If you just wait, you're out of biz
Grab that girl and stick those lips
Put your hands on those lovely hips.

Then again, that's only me
I'm not an exemple for all to be
Norm the man said wait for it
Follow the wise, see this bench? sit.
