Array ( [sid] => 24318 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Mommys having a baby! [time] => 2003-10-03 18:05:00 [hometext] => A funny story about how I told my boys we were having another baby, and their reaction to this! [bodytext] => I said to my sons,"Mommys having a baby",
their eyes got wide,
"but where is it now," pointing to my stomach I said "inside",
My 3 year old lifted my shirt to look where,
but he said "I dont see no baby in there!"
I told him its inside waiting to grow strong,
it takes a while & it seems so long,
But soon you will see mommy getting bigger each day,
that means its growing more, and will come out to play,
But he than asked 'how will it get out",I dont see a door,
I thought OH NO,should I be telling him more?
I left it at that as he still wonders why,
he looks at my belly and starts to sigh,
"Is it a girl or is it a boy',he wanted to know,
we wont know that untill mommy starts to show,
both so confused and the six year old said,
"between mommys legs is where you'll see the head!"
I said in shock,"how do you know?"
"Its ok I watched it on this Tv show!"

LOL Christina ... this made me laugh so much ... children are so cute ... well, at least you didn't have to explain it to the six year old! TV has a lot to answer for :)))) Jan

ROFLMAO, This was great, Shawna is going through about the same thing w/ Robbie right now, I think he has also seen it on TV.

Dear Lowman, this is wonderful! This is one of the humorous treasures our children provide. Its so good that you could put it in verse to pass on to your grandchildren.
