I do not know how to get myself back to sane.
Nothing about me, will ever be the same.
And I sure don’t ever want to hear you say my name.

No mistakes again, as I have gone.
You and me, I should have seen it was all wrong.
From the start my happiness didn’t last long,
And now I keep fighting myself to stay strong.

Don’t kick me when I’m down anymore,
As I have finally walked out that solid door.
My heart you have left shredded and raw.
But one day, without you, one day it won’t be sore.

If only you’d leave my head,
For tears I still shed,
At night time here in my bed,
From all the nasty things said.

You just feed me hate,
And now look at my state.
A new life is what I wait,
But maybe I am always too late.

They say the end of a story always opens the doors for a new beginning...I'm not sure if this is true but there's no harm in sharing it with a friend.
