The pain of knowing
It will never be
His face on my memory
For eternity i'll see

I betrayed myself
I betrayed his trust
I shall pay for my sins
Repentance a must

This night will dawn
It will come to an ending
And with it will my declaration
Of this love that is pending.

Succumb to the knowledge
That pain will follow
The denial of feelings
Leaving my heart hollow

Burning is the passion
That lies beneath
But will never surface
For that life giving breath

Death be to the lover
Who is denied of a chance
To live out a dream so real
Yet so consumed by defiance.

Defiance of Love

The night wind comes
Drowning out my screams
A confession of love
That ever haunts my dreams

The pain of knowing
It will never be
His face on my memory

reallly gr8 .. could relate to it .. in a similar position ... but i guess one cant avoid falling for those beautiful hearts.. .
but anyway .. this wasa great write .. i would only hope that someday may be ... this denial turns into acceptance !!
