To have to walk an early path,
so young and all alone.

To have to make the choices,
arrange a mind to fit.

Who loves me here,
who loves me not,
is it different on the other side?

Who stands with me,
who walks away,
willI I be loved?
or stand alone again.

To walk away,
a child of dust.

Crow I understood this one....I'm getting better with each of your wonderful writes...I was so busy surviving when young, I never even thought to question....I just accepted my lot and would go on.
Young people now days have so many different media.....TV, on line....and everyone is asking the same questions...but few have the answers for young people to day.
I can tell you though...on the other side you find just exactly what you find on your side....
it's all the same tide.
Wonderful questioning, reasoning, write.
Really made me think

The grass is never greener on the other side.
I'll tell you a secret, true love never really feels like love at all. If you go out of way to do something for somebody, that is ten times better than telling them you love them. Trust the people who take care of you and you will rarely feel alone and if no takes care of you, teach some one how by taking care of them. The answers to lifes questions always involve doing something. Trust me: it is always hard.
