Array ( [sid] => 23911 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Do You Remember? [time] => 2003-09-26 23:25:00 [hometext] => This poem is about a friend or family member or some body who lleft you when you needed them the most. For me it is pretty much my real father, but I kept it kinda vague, so it relates to anyone who has hurt me. [bodytext] => I remember
scratching to the bottom of the hole
feeling so low
heartaching so cold
you made me feel like I had no soul

I remember
you were never here
never saved me from my fears
never even noticed my icy tears
am I the reason you were never near?

I remember
all the hurting and the pain
feeling so ashamed
with only you to blame
it's always gonna be the same

I remember
here without you in my life
you have never been by my side
so alone I'll stride
while inside I'll always cry

I remember
the bitter cold flowing through my veins
while all hope seemed far away
a thousand tears streamed down my face
as I felt my eternal pain

I remember

I feel your pain...you expressed my pain through your words here. It makes me sad that many feel this way. I'm so sorry for this. Nice poem. Take care.
Emma.
