Will I feel a part of something once again?
Sit alone in a crowded room, feelings deep of doom and gloom
I can’t handle what I’m feeling
Don’t like what I am, or what I’m becoming
Walls closing in and I feel like running
Choices to be made, a path I must choose
Tears will be shed, and I’m sure I will lose
…something, but I’m not sure what yet
Will I lose the restraints that are holding me down?
Will I lose the bonds that helped me hold my ground?
Will I lose the attachments that make me complete?
Will I lose the restraint that will lead to defeat?
Will I lose all the darkness that’s numbing my soul?
Will I lose all this anger, and regain control?
Not sure what, who, or how I will lose
But I know something’s going, depends on what I choose.
When I thought I knew the answers, all the questions changed around
Now I’m stuck in indecision, and my soul is feeling bound
Tied to routine and the monotony of going through another day
I need a sign from something, help me please to find my way
Dead emotion, feelings die
I’m reborn, a lonely sigh
And I’m torn between right and wrong
And I’m stuck with just not feeling strong
Coldness chills inside my mind
Blanking out the answers that I hope the questions find
Crushing power from this storm
Altering what I thought was the norm
Will I regret the choices I make?
Will I destroy for sanity’s sake?
And in the end, when the smoke has cleared
Will my heart, life and friends be destroyed, as I fear?
