[title] => If I Were Lucky
[time] => 2003-09-26 10:05:00
[hometext] => Basically another poem where I am not happy with myself...
[bodytext] => If I were lucky, I'd win the million-dollar lottery, And if I were lucky, I could ignore these feelings boiling inside of me. If I were lucky, I'd have more patience, And if I were lucky, My luck wouldn't be wasted. If I were lucky, I would have more friends, And if I were lucky, My problems would have an ear to bend. If I were lucky, My appearance would be strikingly pretty, And if I were lucky, I'd find small clothes to fit me. If I were lucky, I'd have straight pert teeth, And if I were lucky, I wouldn't feel beneath. If I were lucky, The whole world would understand me, And if I were lucky, I'd be able to appreciate the person I see. If I were lucky, I wouldn't be a hypocrite, And if I were lucky, I wouldn't have to feel the bite of it. If I were lucky, I'd have a million guys flocking to me, And if I were lucky, I would be as happy as I could be. If I were lucky, I wouldn't have these dark feelings torturing me, Amd if I were lucky, Free of them I would be. But I am not lucky, As it seems, And I have nothing left to lose, But to accept me.
