as i flew into the sky
i knew the reason why
we had to see each others eyes
but ohhh our time it flew right by...

i had to be within' his arms
know real warmth of his kisses and charms
and our time it flew right by
like horizons and sky...

and now i sit and miss him so
him far away, me feeling low
but i am not alone in this
for he too, misses my kiss...

if but one day could be returned
this longing strong, our loving yearned
turn back the clock to just last week
when hearts had wings with kisses deep.

Separated by great distance
Our touch a past instance
Now kicking up commotion
With feelings of emotion
And memories of all days
Give meaning in always
And by looking ahead
With plans widespread
For this girl that i love
I thank heavens above.

Love you Ness xxxx

Time sure does fly by, doesn't it? It just so happens I just wrote a poem about that very concept. I also wrote another one somewhat similar to this called Closer To You... we are SO on the same page right now, it's kinda creepy, lol. At least we both know we're not alone in this whole waiting thing. I'm not sure if that helps either of us at all, lol, but it's still true either way. Anyway, I of course wish you all the best. Much love,

~ Dee

Dearest Ladyfawn,

Nessa you never cease to amaze me, your words touch the core of my heart, sealing little cracks thus giving me hope. I'm so happy you have found someone worthy of a love like yours. Beauty beyound words does your poetry go. Thank you .

You bring back my youth with a typewriter pen
I sure would like to return again,
To my courting days, the days of the start
of my life together with Shirl which was smart.

This love is enviable, my friend. Look how many astounding poems have been birthed. May your connection always remain strong through your writing.
