Dont Let Him Die

Contributed by Kalika on Tuesday, 23rd September 2003 @ 12:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Please Sweet Isis,
Dont let him follow your light,
I may be a bit selfish when I say it,
I need him here.

I need him to hold me when I am down,
I need him to make me laugh,
I need him to make me cry,

He is trying to take his own life,
Even as I pray to you,
Dont let him suceed,
Dont let another of my friends steal their own life.

I make a promise to do whatever I must,
May my word bind me untill death,
In hopes that I may save him,
As he has done for me.

Guide him not with your white light,
dont take him down your path,
Show him the way back here,

I know he has troubles,
So do we all,
Show him there are people here who love him,
Who want to help him work through those troubles.

I want to share my life with his,
But as the time goes by,
His life starts to join yours,
I will follow him through your light Isis,
If he dies I will follow.

I will do whatever I must to be with him,
I only wish he knew,
Lead him not to be with You,
Lead him not to his next life,
Bring him back,
So that he may brighten more lives than just mine.

I pray you Isis,
Save him, Save me,
I simply cant handle this loss.
