So quiet, not to wake you But I stood to see you sleep and dream Yet there you had a tear As you slept, slipped down your cheek A small wet round on your pillow Did you find the rosebud? Oh did you did you? For that rosebud lay holding my true love waiting for thee to touch, and take my love To smell the sweet scent To know I am in that rosebud so small, so frail waiting Did you find the rosebud? I know I laid it there? My dear you slept, and turned So pure, so sweet Your breasts, there only for me to see Your lips, relaxed, beauty in heaven Did you find the rosebud? it was I who placed it?
