falling down in tears
torrents, oceans of pain
present from all those years.

Yesterday is like a fountain
filling all the holes
hell bent on returning me
morose in my strolls.

Silencing the madness
moving through the darkened jungle
only a forest anyway
we have tomorrow yet to bungle.

Be yet careful of the nightbreak
dareful unsure of all it holds
heaving maddened voices, rippled visions
vexing nightmares to unfold.

Disbelieving all before you
forcing truth into your day
decadent slumber so elusive to the touch
leaving you no reasons to stay.

Salvage the remainder of sanity
steep your will in pride
shock not your delicate position
sequester the child inside.

Begin no more questions for the answers
ask not what you need not know
knowledge is not always truth
and truth is never whiter than snow.

Do not trust beyond your presence
pleasing heart, soul, body and mind
moving ever closer still
to what you'll need to find.

Feathery and light, sweet kisses from above
acceptance and knowledge of all that you'll be
arresting the crescendo of screaming
your voice lost on the sea.

Forever in want of the daylight
sailing on past rainy days
taper the fear of coming darkness
for tomorrow's sun, dare yourself to stay.

Suspicious of the sunset
suggestins to the mind
mesmerized by innocent revelries
mendacity is all you'll find.

Flee the broken mysteries
rushing quickly for the shore
stumble not among the bramble
believe you'll find what all the struggle is for.

Forgive not their ambitious coercions
calculated surfacing of someone's delight
designed to render the innocent soul useless
unable to put up the fight. [comments] => 8 [counter] => 276 [topic] => 13 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Dear Jaymee, you are coming in loud and clear....my dear!
What a wonderful way you have with words
They flow from your heart and soul, like the curds of wey....
I'm always amazed at how easily they seem to rise,
whether is suspicion, morass or iies!
Keep them coming Jaymee...your creativity we all enjoy, and especially so, knowing what a wonderful release fo ryou to employ!
I love you,
Lovingcritters
Connie Sue
