The Sky is blue
With billows of white.
The sun plots a course
Towar'd the night.

A purplish hue
The horizon meets.
The hue reaches forward
The sun it greets.

Specks of black
Kiss the sky.
Featheres wings
Spread to fly.

Your souls, the blue
Your arms, the white...
You nourish the sun
Never the night.

Your purplish hue
We can ever reach,
Be we close
Or on some far beach.

Your specks of black
Your feathered wings.
Help us soar
Over troubled things.

Your love forever
Though flesh may die.
We only need
The blue of the sky.

Thoughts of you
Are never sad.
Your why, we're proud
Your Mom and Dad.

Dear Folks.

The Sky is blue
With billows of white.
The sun plots a course
Towar'd the night.

A purplish hue

The hue reaches forward
The sun it greets.
