Array ( [sid] => 23602 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The Pastors Wife [time] => 2003-09-21 19:05:00 [hometext] => Look in the shadows of the picked one you will find the pain of the one carrying the home burden, this poem talks to one such group, but it could be said about many more [bodytext] => Rain fell against my skin
I knew in this world
I would not win

Like all the days
I walked alone
I waited in the cold

The sadness
is all I feel
is this or
is this
not real

I know deep
inside of me
that feeling
that needs to
be free

Where are you now
what place
what are you in

I cried last night
I held your picture close
but then it
is always this way

When trouble comes
you are far away
to save another
from fear and pain

I must stay home
you know remain
to concur all the battles lost
with kids and school
no matter the cost

I miss your tender touch
you know I love you
way too much

Inside all that I feel
I know you live to heal
those that have lost their way
with the fighters you must stay

The task is never done
your wars are never won
yet you comfort all those
you touch
I love you so very much

Don't forget we wait for you
that our love is truly true
home is a only place
