A walk down memory lane
To talk or not to talk
About who is to blame?

Is it myself who is at fault?
Or the ones who let me get here?

I blame myself for my foolishness
I allowed myself to get here
A lonely place where there is no cheerfulness
Only a mirror that looks back at me in fear

I look into my own eyes and I see nothing
All I can see is a boy who is looking for exit
He wants to cry
He wants to forget

He wants love more than anything in the world
But he had no idea of the agony came without it
If I want love so badly will it find me or is it mine to find?

I miss the feeling of comfort in my life
I don’t know if I will ever find it again
But I know that in my life
I can turn only to my best friends

They love me
They do not judge me
They are the glue that holds me together
If I didn’t have them would I be in a million pieces?

I hope these are things I will never have to discover
This is the end of my tale
What am I saying to those who listen?
This is the beginning and I know it’s for the better

Let the fault be forgotten, after all it's in the past.
A good poem. Keep writing.
Take care.
David
