Alone again
You think she's safe
In her room
She's sitting there
In her tomb
Staring at her wall in gloom
While you think
She is fine
She sits alone and starts to cry
All she wants
Is to die
And let her soul
Rise to the sky
Everything is breaking her
She starves herself to be thin
And never wonders why
If you could see underneath her clothes
You'd find a hundred scars
If you could see past her lies
You'd see her silent tears
She falls asleep every night
Only to wake in a firght
She's cold and dizzy and scared of life
And the thought of death goes through her mind
For each day that passes by
She loses hope and prays to die
She knows she's pulling back from friends
You know this is true, you are one of them
You're frustrated with her and wish it'd end
That is why she must lie
And tell the world she is fine
So you can sit at home at night
Thinking she is quite alright
While she sits in her room alone
And takes more steps towards her death [comments] => 4 [counter] => 149 [topic] => 13 [informant] => lostforgood [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

So sad that many people feel this way. This was an awesome write. It got to me in a way that told me that you are quite like myself, besides the starving part, but I know people who starve themselves. The scars, the everyone thinks you are going to be okay when deep down you truely know that you are not. I don't know how old you are, but do you want to get over your pain? Because if you're anything like me, maybe you are holding onto it, thinking you deserve it. Anyway a great write and also thank you for sharing.
Love Emma.

This gave me the chills too... it sucks pretending to be okay. Especially when everyone either buys it or just doesn't want to deal with it and pretends to buy it. God, I hate people. Great poem though, very effective. I could really picture her in my mind at some parts.
