That make me feel dizzy, that turn me on
It's the way they wrap around my own
As we walk through crowds or down the street
It's they way they rest on my knee when we sit
As if to make my skin an extension of his own
It's the way the brush across my back lightly
Just a subtle indication that yes, he's there
It's the way they hold me close to him
While we share kisses that make me weak

It's his lips that get to me next
That make me feel tingly, that get me going
It's the way they whisper soft words to my ear
To blow all my secret insecurities away
It's the way they spread in a boyish smile
Showing his happiness at sharing moments
It's the way they have a conversation with me
Proving that we're more than just two bodies
It's the way the press themselves to my lips
Teaching me new lessons about passion

It's his body that gets to me last
That shows me I'm lucky, that sparks interest
It's the way it stirs when he's at my side
Displaying his confidence with his movement
It's the way it sits across from me at a table
As he leans in to talk or eat and I watch
It's the way it relaxes around certain people
His chest rising and falling with clam breath
It's the way it conforms carefully to my own
As if to get in every crevice until I'm filled up

But in the end I know that
It's every inch
And every hair
And every smile
And every gesture
And every part
Of him that really gets to me [comments] => 3 [counter] => 146 [topic] => 2 [informant] => savannah [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

My absolute favorite line- "whisper soft words in my ear to blow all my secret insecurities away". I love that line! It speaks the truth plainly- we need the person we love to give us confidence and blow away are uneasiness. Well said, well written.

Love Joy and Peace,
Jellybellyprincess
