Array ( [sid] => 23082 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Voices [time] => 2003-09-11 18:05:00 [hometext] => This poem I dedicate to all those who have lost their lives to hatred. It has no race, creed ,color or nationality . Written in remembrance of 911 on this September 11,2003.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rest forever in His love
Brother and sisters of my heart
May everyone hear your voices
And the wisdom they impart !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [bodytext] => Voices

Can you hear them?
In echoes of that day?
Voices of the innocent
Terrorisim swept away

Oh terrorists what is your claim?
What is it you do?
Will God condone your evil?
Or pass judgment on you!

Shall murder and mayhem
Give glory to His name?
Or will it not rather
Give testament of your shame!

Will you be people without understanding?
Lead about as wayward sheep
Fit only for the slaughter
Hells destiny to keep

You claim to know God
Knowing nothing at all
Your souls are marred by hatred
Bitterness and gall

Will you not listen to the voices
Of all the innocent who have died
And feel the burden
Of every tear they have cried

They cry not for justice
Nor is vengeance their end
With one voice they speak
Bring hatred to an end!
