how high a shelf up for tears?
Which box to pack away humiliation,
where do I store the fears?
Who do I sell the grief to,
how do I settle for none?
Which bin to donate broken hearts,
this one's run all out of fun.
Which garden do I replant my losses into?
Who's backyard for all the nightmares?
Who do I share memories with
when there's no one they would not scare?
Which scar to cover up?
Which bruise to rub away?
Failing to rid myself of any of them
in my troubled mind they stay.
I'm lost amid the items marked for storage
and the van has driven away....
The lion, the little girl
and the darkness
emerge from the wreckage gone astray. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 411 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Oh Jaymee i'm like Crow, if only we could hold you, if only we could help store some of your bags of pain, remorse, memories, ourcry, and broken hearts! We would be so happy to do that for you....we've learned how to move....to different places, and different drawers, to different halls, and different doors, and we've also learned with no regret...the only way to move is to go through sort it all out, over and over, never forget, but finding different levels where you can feel less each day! Moving is like everyday over and over in every way! Everyone needs help to move...and that's where we can come in...to support, and hold ,to hug and even cry, we'd do all that for you!
A beautiful moving poem Jaymee just like all your others and after you wrote it down, I hope it helped you to see how to fit just one piece of your heart into eternity!
Warm love and hugs,
lovingcritters
Connie Sue
