And my life drains from a little more each day
The wind beats me with it power
And the hailstones bruise my flesh
A young face now so tired
As he still pushes his body
Taking the desperate hands of the falling
To catch them as their hands lost grip on the clouds they where riding
And each one takes more effort
Take more strain to land them on another cloud
Breaks a shattered heart that much more
And now I have become one of the falling
My wings have given out
And my heart is but a cascade of tears
The darkness envelops me
That is when I see your light
Like a star beacon
Beckoning me little angel
My baby girl
Catching my hand with a strength unseen
Your soft caring hands
You embrace a wretch
You embrace me
What is it that those beautiful brown eyes see worth saving in me
Your hair soft as sun light
You smile it’s warmth
The body of a seductress
And the wings of an angel
You ask where I want to go
And I can give you no answers
Can only tell you where I want to spend the now
You fly me back to your bed
You lay me down to sleep
You run your fingers through me hair
Making me feel safe as I sleep
Hold me close so I feel not the
And when I awake you sit with me in the sunrise
Why do you care little angel.

This is sad and good at the sametime. It feels so real when you read this maybe it is than you have a special angel that cares so much about you

This is a beautiful poem for your little girl. One day she will look back at this and see how much her Daddy loved her.
