to deny me the right to
cry at a grave.

From the mountains
my homeland, they cast a child,
heart does not matter,
a difference in blood.

Blinded by what I never could take,
eye to eye not one stands true.

Paled and weak from false
gods they buy, "a man is born
from the child.

Through the meadows and mountains
a new silence is heard, the earth
welcomes you, "this bitter day.......Crow

Crow, where you get these awesome words i know....
For you have to be inspired to let them unfold somehow!
Standing at a grave and you cannot cry....
how many times I;ve done that and had to turn and say goodbye!
Your poems are so "telling" for me Crow.
You make me understand the way I truly feel, but could never deal with the feelings you make real!
Thanking you Crow for making me feel and shed tears for.....what it is I've been looking and wanting to feel for years!
Such a "telling" poem!
lovingcritters
